What Bourbons will I Get?

Selection depends on availability (rare bourbon means few available bottles!) and which tour you’re on.

Can I Buy a Bottle?

We’ll provide all the details so you can hunt a bottle down later on! But be aware that several pours are limited run, single barrel selects and may hard (or impossible) to find.

How will I know what I tried?

At the start of your tour, you’ll receiving a card listing all the bourbons you’ll be poured, along with their tasting notes and bottle details for your reference.

“Hard to find” means that you won’t be able to purchase a bottle easily – or at all. You won’t be able to walk into a regular liquor store and find it – especially outside of Kentucky. You probably won’t find it at most bars, either (unless they’re on the Urban Bourbon Trail, of course). In some cases, just to try the bourbon on your own, you’d have to bid on bottles online at steeply inflated pricing!

The bourbon pours featured on our tours vary from Single Barrel Selects to limited run offerings from larger distilleries to local micro-distilleries. We also try to feature a wide range of options, so that you’re bound to discover a new favorite.

Frequently, the bourbon selects we feature on our tours run out, so many of our guests are among the last to ever try them!

Yes, you will have the option to upgrade in person at the start of your tour. Let your tour guide know at the beginning of your tour that you’d like to purchase the bourbon upgrade, and be sure have a credit card on hand.

You’ll receive four half-size pours of 1 oz each.

The bourbon pours are served in addition to the standard menu on each of our food tours, so you’ll be enjoying cocktails and beer as well. Welcome to Kentucky, y’all.
