You’ll enjoy five food stops with eight tastings, comprising a full dinner. The tour is designed to leave you satisfied, not stuffed.

How much alcohol will we be drinking on this tour?

Expect four bourbon cocktails and two bourbon pours (guided tastings), balanced with food pairings so you’ll feel that classic “Kentucky Hug” without going overboard.

Will we be visiting bourbon distilleries on this tour?

No distillery stops. You’ll visit a bottle shop and tasting room and explore bourbon beyond the distillery experience.

I don’t drink — can I still do the tour?

Yes. Creative mocktails are available for non-drinkers; all participants must be 21+.

Is the tour accessible?

Yes—wheelchair accessible on flat sidewalks. The route covers about 1 mile. Please let us know dietary needs in advance; some preferences/allergies may not be accommodated.

Not much! This is NOT a food tour. You’ll enjoy a few small food samples during your tour, but we suggest that you eat a hearty lunch before your tour and plan to go to dinner shortly afterwards.

You’ll enjoy several bourbon flights (totaling 9 bourbon pours), and 2 half-size cocktails.

Yes, we will be touring a bourbon distillery during this tour. However, it is not the standard distillery tour. The Bourbon Trolley experience includes exclusive access to a shortened tour, so we can squeeze in more experiences in a smaller timeframe!

We sure hope so! Our Bourbon Trolley experience is designed to offer something totally different than the typical bourbon distillery tours. The Bourbon Trolley is the perfect accompaniment to visiting distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, but it’s entirely different experience.

While we love the all day long bourbon country tours, we wanted to create something that could be done in a single afternoon without leaving the city – perfect for anyone with limited time, or who doesn’t want to devote an entire day to driving around.

We’ve pulled together some of the most unique bourbon experiences in Louisville, such as speakeasy tasting rooms, the official start of the Kentucky Bourbon trail, gourmet food artisans that use bourbon in innovative ways to create delicious bites, and more. Each experience offers something completely unique and exclusive to us, like a craft cocktail created just for our guests, behind-the-scenes access, or a customized tasting experience.

It’s quite literally something you won’t find anywhere else, because we worked closely with our partners to create each and every experience on the tour.

We don’t offer mocktails on this tour. You’ll enjoy a few bites and a lot of fun history and information. That said, we do offer lots of other fantastic experiences that DO offer mocktail options for non-drinkers, such as our Bourbon & Food Walking Tour.

Yes, you’ll end the tour right back where you started. Or hey, you can stay on and keep riding the trolley, if you want – a 24 hour LouHop pass is included with the ticket!

Your ticket includes exclusive access, bourbon, cocktails and bites in some of the most hard-to-access spots on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, a pass to the LouHop trolley that you can use for 24 hours after your tour ends, and 3 hours of fun and information.

This experience is designed to be exclusive and unique. We packed a LOT of exclusive bourbon experiences into a 3 hour window, and we custom designed every single experience on the tour. You truly can only get them through us.

When it comes to what we charge, our pricing for all tours is based on an operating margin that fairly compensates our hard working tour guides, pays full price to our local partners, and includes a 20% gratuity for the staff at each of the stops we visit.

The Bourbon Trolley tour experience is created and exclusively run by Louisville Food Tours as the official partner of the LouHop Trolley. You’ll have access to LouHop for 24 hours so you can continue to explore downtown, NuLu and Butchertown! The trolley runs daily on a loop until 9PM.
